How to generate social media content

I’ve gotten asked this a bunch of times. How do I generate so much content? In this video I’ll show you how!

Basically, though, I would have to say it all comes down to creating ( AND USING) repeatable processes.

I’m genuinely curious. How are you guys utilizing your content. Are you using it up to the max?

00:00
 friends so for this particular
00:01
video i’m going to show you one of my
00:03
workflows this is actually going to be
00:05
pretty awesome so
00:06
one of the questions that i get asked
00:08
very very frequently is how do i
00:10
generate so much content so
00:13
uh this workflow is actually a content
00:15
propagation workflow so i’ll go over
00:18
one of the items that i have in visio
00:20
and show you from start to finish how
00:22
you can create generate great content
00:24
now before i go jump into the media’s
00:26
video you know what to do like and
00:28
subscribe onto this particular channel
00:30
so you can continue to get updates as
00:32
well as to let me know how i’m doing on
00:34
this particular channel all right so
00:36
without further ado let’s jump into it
00:38
so initially when you have an idea for
00:40
content what a lot of businesses or a
00:42
lot of people do in general with respect
00:45
to content creators is they take that
00:46
one piece of content and they only use
00:48
it one time or they may recycle that
00:50
same piece of content on the on that
00:52
platform so what i’m going to show you
00:54
is how i take a video and i stretch that
00:58
out into several pieces of content now
01:00
the very first thing that you want to do
01:02
when you’re setting something up like
01:04
this is to make sure that you
01:07
create a workflow so i’m using vizio for
01:11
my workflow the whole idea behind the
01:13
workflow is that it gives you an eye a
01:15
visual idea of what everything looks
01:17
like in terms of its layout and then you
01:20
can take that and you can move some
01:22
stuff over so essentially this is your
01:24
storyboard so you can take that content
01:27
out and then you can manipulate it how
01:28
you see fit based on your brand based on
01:31
your brand marketing goals and sales
01:33
goals so typically when i start with my
01:36
content i start with the videos so first
01:38
of all we have our content calendar in
01:40
terms of the top topics so there would
01:42
be like a sales calendar or marketing
01:44
calendar or a retail calendar if you
01:47
would and so that’s going to talk about
01:48
like the high level points of what we’re
01:50
going to talk about so that would be
01:51
like what do we do in january that’s
01:53
going to be like your new year’s and
01:54
things are starting over or february
01:56
that’s valentine’s day or or
01:59
april and may we’re talking about spring
02:01
refreshes so
02:03
uh that’s super important just to go on
02:05
the high level but as we jump actually
02:08
into creating the videos themselves then
02:10
we’ll just jump into our spreadsheet so
02:13
essentially what happens is
02:15
a video is created in our workflow we’ll
02:18
take that piece of video
02:21
and it’ll get processed
02:22
so the processing means that we can add
02:25
subtitles we can add music we can add
02:28
color grading we can add text to it in
02:30
certain areas or images in terms of that
02:33
workflow and that will allow um us to
02:36
have a refined product once we have that
02:38
refined product we are golden
02:41
we’ll take that petite particular
02:43
content and we can take that and turn it
02:46
into uh the content that i mentioned so
02:48
we can
02:49
take it and put it into a feed and we
02:51
can turn that into a visual
02:54
assembly of content of snippets and
02:56
those snippets can be used on google my
02:58
business
03:00
and similar platforms in terms of
03:01
stories
03:03
or whatever that platform happens to
03:05
call their thing i think instagram had
03:07
reels at some point in time but that’s
03:09
what those snippets can be used for
03:11
another vein that you can take this
03:13
content down is to to use the actual
03:16
written content based on it so
03:18
the written content you would send out
03:20
the transcription to the writing team
03:24
and then they would take that content
03:25
and they can generate a full blog post
03:28
and that blog post can be
03:30
assembled and it can be put as part of
03:32
your website
03:34
or it can be put as part as news as
03:36
newsletters and similar
03:39
the other thing that you can do is to
03:40
create more snippets so these snippets
03:42
will be your quotes edward says this and
03:46
that would be delivered to your visual
03:47
media team once again so they would
03:49
create those instagram quotes uh and
03:51
similar and that content can once again
03:53
be used on google my business instagram
03:56
stories uh linkedin next door and that
03:59
sort of thing
04:01
and then in terms of the video content
04:03
itself going down that main lane we can
04:06
take that full video and post it in
04:08
native format on linkedin youtube
04:11
facebook whatever platform that you
04:14
desire that works again with your brand
04:16
now i am a proponent of native posting
04:19
to the platforms because i believe that
04:21
you get the most out of the platform on
04:23
your native posts but uh there’s
04:24
certainly a lot of people that will post
04:26
their video on youtube and then take
04:28
that youtube link and share it to the
04:30
other platforms and once again it really
04:32
just depends on what you’re trying to do
04:34
with that
04:35
so the last thing that that we can do
04:38
with the content would be to take that
04:39
content and send it over for audio
04:41
processing and this is the the part that
04:44
a lot of people leave out this audio
04:46
processing so you can literally remove
04:49
the audio from the
04:51
from the speech that you’re giving or
04:53
the presentation that you’re giving
04:55
and send that out to to be processed and
04:57
when i say process you know how you have
04:59
the podcast and they have welcome to the
05:01
great show
05:03
and starring your host
05:05
that is how you would process that so
05:07
you add like a header
05:09
and then the tail end of of your video
05:12
excuse me of your audio file and then
05:14
they also do the audio correction and
05:16
making sure that the audio is leveled
05:18
appropriately and eq’d and that gives
05:20
you that crisp sound so that
05:23
that’s the processing component so once
05:25
that’s done the file is mixed down or
05:27
rendered and then it’s saved and then
05:29
you can upload that to a podcast
05:31
distribution platform such as anchor or
05:34
similar
05:35
anyway
05:37
that’s how
05:38
we do content creation i’m curious to
05:40
see how you guys would do content
05:41
creation on your platform um if you guys
05:44
want a copy of this let me know um if we
05:47
get uh if we get enough people to reach
05:50
out for us on this then what i will do
05:52
is i will create a packet for this to be
05:54
downloaded so you guys can use in your
05:56
organizations um all right guys so
05:58
that’s what i have for this particular
05:59
video again if it has value don’t forget
06:02
to do things smash that like button and
06:04
to subscribe to this particular channel
06:06
alright guys i love to hear comments and
06:09
until next time i will see you all next
06:11
